About

I’m a Swedish designer with a passion for pattern design and traditional handicraft. I founded my rug studio in 2011 with a vision to combine art and graphic design with function. By using the space on the floor, rather than the wall, the rug becomes both a canvas and a piece of furniture.

When doing my artwork I draw my inspiration from colours, forms and shapes found in nature. The art nouveau era, as well as art deco, lies close to my aesthetic heart.

Besides making my rugs, I also take on freelance assignments. For me design and visual communication is a tool to make us feel and react, but also to make complicated things more accessible and understandable.

I am based in Stockholm and share my studio and showroom Birkagatan Ett with five other brilliant designers. Come visit!
