Brf Lingonet

I was commissioned to make decorations for the entrances of a residential building in Hornstull Stockholm (Brf Lingonet). I wanted to pick up on the elements from the area, like the mandarin ducks who seem to have routed here, Årstabron bridge from early 20th century, the skyline on the other side of the bay and flowers from the surrounding garden allotments. I was also inspired by the era when the houses were built, the late 60s, and therefore dove into Swedish prints for children’s textiles from that period. Artwork in the entrances are accompanied by numbers on each floor, font Holen Vintage.
